What’s Your Binge?

“What’s Your Binge?” is a view into the interests of fellow Purchase College Staff. What are they listening to? Watching? Reading? What’s your binge?

In a recent poll sent around to ask Staff titled “What’s your binge?,” three results stood out that deserved a featurette:

1. The Moth

The Moth Podcast features re-airs of all new episodes of The Moth Radio Hour, our most beloved tales and the stories behind the stories. The series debuted in 2009 and is now airing on more than 470 stations nationwide. The Moth Radio Hour is co-produced by Jay Allison at Atlantic Public Media and presented by PRX.

2. Killing Eve

Killing Eve is the story of two women, bound by a mutual obsession and one brutal act: Eve, an MI6 operative, and Villanelle, the beautiful, psychopathic assassin that she has been tasked to find. Season 2 begins 30 seconds after the final episode of the first season; Eve is reeling and Villanelle has disappeared. Eve has no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead, and now both of them are in deep trouble. Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does, but unfortunately, she’s not the only person looking for her.

3. Borne by Jeff VanderMeer

In the ruins of a nameless city of the future, ruled by a giant grizzly called Mord, a woman named Rachel lives as a scavenger, collecting genetically engineered organisms and experiments created by the biotech firm the Company. Hidden in Mord’s fur, she finds a sea anemone-like creature that she calls Born
