What does it cost to be seen in Student Health Services?

There is no charge to be seen in student health services however some services incur a fee.

Office visits are FREE regardless of health insurance coverage. However, there are some things we do that may incur a fee. Below is a list of our fees:

Administer injection: $10.00
Administer multiple injections: $25.00 per semester
Blood glucose testing: $10.00
Ear syringing (cleaning ear wax): $25.00
Flu shot: $20.00
Hemocult x 3: $5.00
Hemoglobin testing: $10.00
HIV test (rapid): $20.00 (Free HIV testing is available.)
HPV removal: $25.00
Incision and drainage: $25.00
Influenza Test (rapid) $15.00
Inhalation Nebulizer (for asthma): $10.00
IPPD (Tuberculosis screening skin test): $10.00
Molluscum removal: $25.00
Mono test (rapid): $10.00
Physical exam (Entrance requirement): $100.00
Pregnancy test (urine): $5.00
Strep test (rapid): $5.00
Suture removal: $25.00
Urinalysis: $5.00

In addition, there are fees related to most medications and supplies that are dispensed. These prices vary.

Fees are added to your Purchase College account balance and are payable via MyHeliotrope.
