Complaint Resolution for Out-of-State Distance Education Students

Purchase College, SUNY is approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. SARA is a voluntary agreement among its member states and U.S. territories that establishes one set of national standards and regulations for offering postsecondary distance education (online) courses and programs.

Students attending SUNY Purchase under the SARA agreement should, after exhausting campus procedures, file complaints through the New York State Education Department. For more information, visit the NC-SARA webpage for student complaints.
