Masks and Social Distancing
Proper masks must be worn at all times in the Library, regardless of vaccination status. This is in keeping with CDC and College policy about mask-wearing indoors. Masks must cover your nose and mouth. Library staff reserve the right to ask that you wear a mask upon entering the library, adjust your mask properly within the library, etc.
Patrons must maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet from staff and other patrons. Please do not congregate around printers, in stairwells, or in closed/cramped spaces. Please use designated footprints while waiting for printers, circulation or reference service. Library staff reserve the right to ask patrons to maintain social distance by moving further away, changing position, etc. Do not move furniture in order to reduce distance between yourself and staff and patrons.
Library staff reserve the right to enforce the COVID safety policies. Failure to comply with these policies may result in referral to the Office of Community Standards, removal from the Library, suspension of library privileges, and/or notification to University Police (UPD). If inappropriate conduct occurs after an initial warning, you will be asked to leave the Library.
