About the Program

NOTE: This program was previously known as Entrepreneurship in the Arts

The Arts and Cultural Management MA addresses the global need for innovative and dynamic leadership across commercial and nonprofit creative industries. Future arts and cultural entrepreneurs and leaders must be prepared to combine business management practices with social responsibility and intercultural competency in response to the triple bottom line: profit, people, planet.

This program trains students in management and leadership skills, guided by social impact accountability and global citizenship across relevant fields of expertise, including arts and entertainment, communication, media, and community engagement. The curriculum integrates creative design and entrepreneurship with organizational administration, research and development, marketing, and finance.

Whether aspiring to lead contemporary cultural institutions, manage arts and entertainment enterprises, or coordinate media projects across emerging creative economies, students in the Arts and Cultural Management MA are well prepared for careers in the arts and cultural industries.
