What is your motivation to succeed?

I consider many factors when thinking about why I need to keep going. I think about making my supporters proud, proving to myself that I am stronger than I thought I was, and I think about the financial and personal investment that cannot go to waste. I don’t put too much pressure on myself; my only goal is to not go backwards on a path I am meant to be on. I can take a different route, maybe stop in my tracks to take a break, but never go backwards.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

My two favorite music genres are electronic pop and metal. I have a poker face while walking around campus, but just know I am either bumping to Loathe or Underscores.

What are your long-term goals?

Stability. I honestly don’t mind the career path I end up on as long as I’m proud of what I’m doing, financially stable, and supporting the people I love. Stability is very important to me, and I prioritize it since I’ve spent way too long without it.

What does EOP/MAP mean to you?

Family of course. I still know, and at the very least, say hi to people from my EOP summer academy. I feel confident speaking to any one of the counselors, and I loved all the mentees from this summer academy as well as my coworkers. I truly consider them all my friends and being a mentor was my favorite job ever. I had the best time!!

What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?

Probably EOP Summer Academy 2026 and I’m not just saying this because I got student of the month, but being a peer mentor this summer was truly something I could never forget. Sure, I had lots of fun on campus but nothing beats being able to have fun, feel connected to my peers, feel a sense of belonging, and supporting others all at once.
