What is your motivation to succeed?

My sibling is my biggest motivation to succeed because I want to set a good example for him.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

Most people don’t know that while getting Dean’s list, I was struggling with dealing with my mother’s health condition. Handling things at home and school got difficult but I was able to get on a schedule and handle everything.

What are your long-term goals?

My long-term goals are to find an internship in my major that leads to a permanent position doing something that I love and traveling to at least 10 new places in my early 20s.

What does EOP/MAP mean to you?

The EOP/MAP programs mean having community that you can call family and more of an opportunity for support through the difficult 4-year journey.

What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?

My most invaluable experience was leaning that everyone is different. There are many kinds of people with different backgrounds that interact in life. Even though you think your one experience or experiences are like someone else’s, the mindset and actions can differ greatly.
