Pavani Srinivasan ’11

Pavani Srinivasan is a writer and producer who has worked in nonfiction television for the past fourteen years. As Supervising Producer on Indian Matchmaking (Netflix), she earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.”

Originally from New York, Pavani now resides in the DC Metro Area, where she works for Monumental Sports and Entertainment. Over the past two years, she has produced the magazine shows Beyond the Buzzer and Mystics Courtside—both recognized with Regional Emmys in 2024 for “Best Sports Program – Post-Produced or Edited.”

With a diverse background in nonfiction storytelling, Pavani has especially enjoyed creating cultural programs that highlight her South Asian heritage. As the sole South Asian producer on Bravo’s Family Karma, she helped shape the show’s cultural narrative and visibility on a popular platform. The series went on to win a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Show.
