Irina Shablinsky

Lecturer of Mathematics/Computer Science

Irina Shablinsky first joined the mathematics/computer science faculty in the fall of 2001 as an adjunct. She was previously a postdoctoral trainee at Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where her research focused on natural language processing. Prior to that she worked for many years at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Control Processes, St. Petersburg State University, 
St. Petersburg, Russia
, concentrating on non-smooth optimization problems and differential equations.
