Sophie Dolamore ’15

Sophie Dolamore is currently based in Washington, D.C. and is the Assistant to the Senior Vice Presidents of Operations and Artistic Planning at the John. F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Previously, Sophie spent six years in London, UK as a freelance violinist, teacher, and arts administrator, working at Wigmore Hall and later the touring department at Askonas Holt, where she traveled with and managed logistics for orchestra tours throughout Europe, Russia and Asia.

Sophie holds an MSc from the Royal College of Music, and is a proud 2015 graduate of the BA in Arts Management and MusB in Violin Performance programs at Purchase College. The quality of programs and supportive advisors she had while at Purchase inspired her to pursue a dual degree in the arts and helped her to land an internship at The Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society—all of which propelled her into the full-time career in performing arts administration that she has now.
