Kelsye Byrne ’12 is a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, who records alt-pop music as Vérité, French for “truth.”
She’s amassed more than 250 million streams.
Vérité’s debut single “Strange Enough,” released in 2014, became her first viral hit.
Three EPs followed, and in 2016, she covered 1975’s “Somebody Else” that’s been streamed over 100 million times.
Her debut album, Somewhere in Between (Kobalt Music Recordings) was released in June 2017 followed by New Skin in 2019. She released her third album Love You Forever in 2023.
