EOP Students Present Notable Findings at Research Symposium

After six weeks participating in the SUNY/EOP Undergraduate Summer Research Program, two EOP students presented their final projects at the Program’s Summer Research Symposium.


 EOP students rising sophomore Bradley Thomas (Biology) and senior Kailey Ossorio (Environmental Studies) presented their final projects at the Symposium held in Albany on July 22. 

Ossorio presented “An Assessment on the Social and Physiological Effects of Pesticides on Bumble Bees,” which she completed with her research group at SUNY Polytechnic.

Thomas presented “Optimizing the Synthesis of sub-10nm Gold Nanoparticles,” which he completed with his summer study research group at SUNY Geneseo.
