National Poetry Month Display

The Library celebrates National Poetry Month!

On the first-floor displays in the Reference Commons,

we feature contemporary poets (including Purchase’s own Monica Farrell)

and their most recent volumes:

award winning/mind blowing/heart opening/ free floating/

universes & galaxies galore/just waiting for you/

to check out and explore.

As the poet Joyce Kilmer (fictitiously) wrote as a first draft of her famous work, “Trees”:

“I think that I shall never see/

poems so lovely in a Li-brar-y”

The displays will be up for the rest of April.

All items are available for checkout.
