Who Will Write Our History with Nancy Spielberg
On April 26th, 2022, executive producer Nancy Spielberg joined us for a screening of Who Will Write Our History, followed by a discussion and Q&A.
Who Will Write Our History tells the story of a secret band of journalists, scholars and community leaders, led by historian Emmanuel Ringelblum, who decided to fight Nazi propaganda from the Warsaw Ghetto with pen and paper. The film mixes the writings of the Oyneg Shabes Archive, never before heard interviews, and stunning dramatizations.
Following the film screening, Spielberg was joined by Millie Jasper, executive director of the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center for a conversation and Q&A. Spielberg discussed the making of the film and her collaboration with writer, producer and Director Roberta Grossman.
