Brick Holder: Francis Pàce-Nuñez

The Brick Holder designation honors a graduating senior who has made an outstanding contribution to the quality of student life.

Francis Pàce-Nuñez is graduating from the Acting BFA program in the Conservatory of Theatre Arts. He began his journey in the Theatre and Performance program.

He became a resident assistant his second year at Purchase and has been in the position for five years, making this his sixth year at the college.

He loves community and art, and is grateful for what his Purchase journey was able to be. He thanks Purchase College for their acknowledgment, his peers and friends for all their love and inspiration, and his mother for everything.

The Brick Holder Tradition

The Brick Holder ceremony is one of our fondest traditions. First given to a student at the 1998 freshman orientation program, this brick is now awarded to a graduating senior who has made an outstanding contribution to the quality of student life throughout their Purchase tenure. By “returning” the brick, the values of leadership, service, involvement, and positive change are gifted forward to the next class of graduates.
