Sidra Bell MFA ’05 Premieres New Work for NYCB

Lecturer in dance Sidra Bell MFA ’05 choreographed a piece commissioned by the New York City Ballet for their 2020 Digital Fall Season. Pixelation in a wave (Within Wires) will debut on film on Tuesday, October 27 at 8pm as part of their Festival of New Choreography.
The film features NYCB dancers performing on the campus of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the home of New York City Ballet.
The films will be released at 8pm each evening and will be available free-of-charge on NYCB’s YouTube channel, Facebook page, and on nycballet.com.
Each premiere will be followed by a discussion featuring the choreographers and some of the other artists who participated in the making of the pieces.
