Congratulations to Professor Kathleen McCormick
She was recently honored with the 2019 Elena Lucrezia Cornaro Award.
On June 8, 2019, The Sons and Daughters of Italy’s New York State Grand Lodge Foundation has recognized Kathleen McCormick, professor of literature and pedagogy, with the 2019 Elena Lucrezia Cornaro Award.
Named for the first woman in history to receive a PhD, this award recognizes outstanding Italian-American scholars for their significant contributions to their profession and their communities.
McCormick was noted for her outstanding contributions to scholarship in Joyce studies, pedagogy, and Italian American studies; her creative work; and her exceptional commitment to her students.
