Carlos T. Fernandez ’93

FBI legend now global chief security officer for Viacom.

Carlos T. Fernandez ’93 (liberal studies) spent more than twenty years at the FBI, most recently as the leader of the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force before retiring in 2017. 

As Viacom’s global chief security officer, he’s tasked with providing security for all of their facilities and events, including their headquarters in New York, a network of offices around the world, more than 200 high-profile events in major cities, and the thousands of employees and guests of the entertainment conglomerate.
