Autism Acceptance Month Display
April is Autism Acceptance Month. Check out the display on the Library’s first floor!
April is Autism Acceptance Month! According to the Autistic Self Advocacy Network, “Autism Acceptance Month promotes acceptance and celebration of autistic people as family members, friends, classmates, co-workers, and community members making valuable contributions to our world. Autism is a natural variation of the human experience, and we can all create a world which values, includes, and celebrates all kinds of minds.”
The Library is celebrating Autism Acceptance Month with a display of books and movies by and for people on the Autism Spectrum. Titles include:
