We must stop the invasive species before it’s too late! #ClimateChange #SaveOurOurOldForests #PreserveBiodiversity

Invaders! Invasive plant species are taking over our old forests and threaten the biodiversity of our ecosystems. We must stop them before it is too late. Plant species like Porcelain berry and Mugwort are responsible for a dramatic shift in wildlife diversity and native species diversity.
These invaders kill other plants by quickly taking over a region and growing over it- blocking sunlight and altering the balance of competition of native wildlife in the area. Their removal is critical in preserving our old growth forests and the balance of the animal species that live within the area.
