Ryan, Andrew, Sammy, and Eric studied the foraging behavior of those pesky blue jays. The group set up two feeders in the front yard of a house, one was out in the open and the other was in a bush with peanuts as a food source. Two trials at each site were done which showed each blue jay’s appearance. Ironically, as aggressive as blue jays are, the group’s findings concluded that blue jays typically feed in covered areas versus uncovered areas. How bold are they really?!
