About the Program
Minor in Animation
Animation classes at Purchase College cover 2D as well as 3D animation techniques. The curriculum includes various ways of working with analog and digital animating approaches. Three animation production classes take students from a beginner level all the way to completing a large scale animation project by the end of the upper level course. As part of the Animation Minor, there are three production studio classes and one history / analysis course and an additional upper level elective course to supplement the particular student’s animation focus.
