Internships

These academic internship opportunities are the outcome of the collaborative work of Casa Purchase and our partners. All internships are intended for community work that will benefit a significant number of local residents.

In addition to these specific internships, we have an important number of organizations who are always seeking  volunteers and interns. If you are interested in finding out more, please schedule an initial meeting with Leandro Benmergui.

Before being considered for an internship, students need to register for  through the Career Development Center:

Steps to Register for a Credit Bearing Internship:

  1. Locate and secure an internship opportunity

  2. Obtain a Faculty Sponsor (For LSCE students, please see your advisor)

  3. Submit the on-line Internship Learning Contract for approval during registration or add/drop.

For more information, visit the Office of Career Development

More opportunities will be posted. Please check this website regularly or send us an email to specify your interest, and we will help you find opportunities.

Workers Center Volunteer Internship

The Worker’s Center itself was started as a response to the need to defend low-wage immigrant worker rights for those that are most vulnerable to workplace exploitation, discrimination, wage theft and hazardous working conditions.
