Kellyann’s practice begins with close attention to her surroundings, translating moments from the sky, forests, and shoreline into tactile photographic works. What started as a series of cloud observations evolved into cyanotypes that were printed, stamped, and mailed to a growing circle of fellow enthusiasts—an extension of her interest in sharing small, ephemeral moments in physical form.
Working across cyanotype, silver gelatin, and archival pigment processes, she creates images that emphasize texture, light, and atmosphere. Her work reflects a sustained engagement with nature—quiet, immersive, and grounded in process.
At the Alumni Showcase, Kellyann will present a range of photographic prints, including small-format cyanotypes, silver gelatin contact prints, and larger-scale works drawn from her studies of sky, woods, and water.
It started with observations of clouds, became a collection of pictures on my phone which then became cyanotypes, stamped and mailed to fellow cloud lovers. Simple appreciation put to paper and shared. If you love clouds, you’re a member of the cloud gazers club.
