Adam Resnick

Adam Resnick, a writer and researcher, earned his M.Phil. in Comparative Literature from the City University of New York Graduate Center.
His scholarship explores the intersections of media, literature, and cultural history, with a particular focus on television. His current book project examines the evolution of the mockumentary comedy form—from its satirical origins to its influence on contemporary storytelling.
Resnick’s research and teaching interests span television history, Latin American testimonio, and the relationship between narrative form and social experience. He has taught courses in media studies, transhumanism, and the literary imagination. He currently teaches Catholic Studies and Literature at Sacred Heart University, and continues to enjoy teaching at Purchase College in its summer and winter sessions .
