Paul Giarratano ’16

Paul Giarratano was born and raised in Long Island, New York.

With fellow dancer alumni Keerati Jinakunwiphat ’16 and Claude (CJ) Johnson ’17, Giarratano staged  Sleeping Where I Stumble (2015) for the Purchase Dance Company in 2024, a piece by the beloved dancer, choreographer and Associate Professor Emeritus of Dance Kevin Wynn ’79, who passed away in 2023.

Other credits include: CATS National Tour, Metropolitan Opera, Company XIV, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Keigwin and Company, and Spectrum Dance Theater.

He also studied a semester abroad at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. Giarratano attended the 2015 Taylor Winter Intensive, and danced for two seasons with Spectrum Dance Theater + Donald Byrd.

He believes that movement equals joy and is happiest when he is dancing!
