Iris Bodre ’98

Iris Bodre studied American Literature at SUNY College at Purchase in New York. She fostered her writing talents by interning for PAPER Magazine and also as an editorial assistant for a major textbook publisher, Longman – ELT (a division of Pearson Education).

In 2010 she published a memoir entitled, Living a Lifetime in 625 Days, under a pen name, Abigail Suzahns, with Tate Publishing. Later, Iris earned an MFA in Creative Writing degree from The City College of New York, CUNY and has served City College as an Adjunct Instructor in their First Year Writing Program. Currently, Iris is the Recruitment and Mission Development Director for Salve Regina Catholic Academy in Brooklyn, NY, and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at St. John’s University in Queens.
