Iris Bodre ’98
Iris Bodre studied American Literature at SUNY College at Purchase in New York. She fostered her writing talents by interning for PAPER Magazine and also as an editorial assistant for a major textbook publisher, Longman – ELT (a division of Pearson Education).
In 2010 she published a memoir entitled, Living a Lifetime in 625 Days, under the pen name Abigail Suzahns, with Tate Publishing. Later, Iris earned an MFA in Creative Writing from The City College of New York, CUNY and has served City College as an Adjunct Instructor in their First Year Writing Program. Currently, Iris is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the First Year Writing program at St. John’s University in Queens, NY.
