Broadway Debut
Chase-Owens made his Broadway debut in Romeo+Juliet, directed by Tony-Award Winner Sam Gold at the legendary Circle in the Square theatre in September 2024.
TV
Chase-Owens recently had a recurring role as Kai (son of Tisha Campbell’s character) on the hit Netflix series Uncoupled, opposite Neil Patrick Harris and Marcia Gay Harden.
He also played a series regular role of “Filip Inaros” in Amazon Prime’s The Expanse and appeared in HBO’s The Deuce.
Film
Chase-Owens has a role in the upcoming comedy/drama Other People’s Bodies and appears in Mutt, the award-winning feature film written and directed by Vuk Lungolov-Klutz ’16 (Film), which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2023, among others.
Theatre
Chase-Owens played the role of Scott in the reading of Mustapha Matura’s play Three Sisters After Chekhov, part of the Reading Series in honor of The Acting Company’s 50th anniversary in May 2023.
He was a finalist for the 2022 Clive Barnes Theater Artist Award for starring as B in the world premiere of Martyna Majok’s Sanctuary City for New York Theatre Workshop at the Lucille Lortel Theater. (Read more in The New York Times.)
In 2018, Chase-Owens played Lysander/Snug in The Public’s Mobile Unit production of Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, a three-week tour to correctional facilities, homeless shelters, social service organizations, and community centers before its run at The Public.
