Lucille Werlinich

Lucille Werlinich is the Chair of the Purchase College Foundation Board of Trustees and serves on the boards of the Performing Arts Center Advisory Council and the Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art.

Ms. Werlinich worked for over 23 years in retail banking at companies including Citibank and Chase. She has served on the Westchester Community College Foundation Board for more than 15 years, including terms on its Executive Committee and as chair of its Scholarship Committee. She is a former board member at the Food Bank for Westchester.

Ms. Werlinich has a long association with Purchase College, attending concerts at The Performing Arts Center since it opened in 1978. She has a special interest in supporting student scholarships through her family’s foundation and setting up faculty support grants and production endowments.


Ms. Werlinich received the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Leadership in Philanthropy Award in 2014 and the Purchase College Leaders in Philanthropy Award in 2016.  She holds a BA in History from Northwestern University and an MA in Education from New York University; she lives in Purchase, New York and enjoys skiing, classical music, the theater, and ballet.
