Judith A. Riggs
Judith A. Riggs is the founder and president of Judith Riggs & Company, Inc., a firm specializing in leadership and workforce development and training. For two decades, she was founder and president of MIS Technical Resources, Inc., a firm dedicated to information technology consulting and senior level executive search. Her prior experiences include service as a member of faculty in graduate business programs; spearheading business development and human resource management for a technology consulting and search firm in New York City; Senior Account Executive for a technology industry leader; Resource Development Manager for a non-profit organization; and as a Lyndon Baines Johnson Congressional Intern in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Dr. Riggs has served as a member of the Board of The Junior League of Bronxville; The Council of Junior Leagues of Westchester; The New York State Public Affairs Committee; The Interracial Women’s Leadership Roundtable; and The Links, Inc., Greater Hudson Valley Chapter. She is a former president of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Westchester Chapter.
Commissioned as a national and international Ambassador for Peace, Dr. Riggs and 120 other women leaders traveled to Beijing to represent the U.S. at a convocation designed to strengthen U.S.-China relations and trade. She participated in a Middle East Peace Initiative in Israel for the purpose of bringing together international leaders, government officials, and academicians to discuss strategies to embrace peace among religions and nations. She also represented the U.S. in South Korea where she joined representatives from the United Kingdom and France at an International Leadership Conference focused on the need for vision and leadership at a time of global crisis.
Dr. Riggs holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College, and a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College.
