Celebrate 30 years of National Poetry Month & 25 Years of Jazz Appreciation Month

The Purchase College Library celebrates the swing of poetry and the poetry of jazz.

On display in the Computer Commons are works by Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize winning authors and National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters Fellows. In 1982, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) created the American Jazz Masters Fellowships, renamed the NEA Jazz Masters Fellowships in 2004; to honor musicians who have reached an exceptionally high standard of achievement in this very specialized art form. The artists on display are such musicians.
