Available Library Services While Classes Are Remote

The Circulation Department is available to assist with account questions, renewals, fines and fees, course reserve access, and any other general access support.
We will be available to provide excellent customer service to all patrons during the library’s hours of operation.
Please contact us at lib.circ@purchase.edu and members of our team will respond as quickly as possible to any questions or concerns you may have regarding the library.
Reference librarians will be available to help you virtually via our Ask-a-Librarian services:
  • Use the Chat 24/7 service for online help any time, day or night. (Staffed by local librarians from 10am to 5pm.)
  • Text-a-Librarian at (914) 873-1711 for help via text message from 10am to 5pm (staffed by local librarians), and from 5pm to 10pm (staffed by a local circulation team member).
  • Email ask@purchase.libanswers.com for asynchronous help or to schedule a video chat appointment with a librarian.
  • You can also email your subject liaison librarian directly.
