Fall is in Full Swing!

Message from Dennis Craig, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

The return to an in-person learning and living environment this fall has reminded all of us how we cherish the social dynamics of college life. Getting to know new roommates, joining a club, a random discussion in the laundry room that leads to a collaboration on a creative projects—these are all important aspects of our students experiences.

Attendance at campus events this semester is already at record levels, and I have enjoyed the many conversations I’ve had with students and colleagues from in-person interactions at Starbucks and across campus. It’s great having our students back!

I’d like to remind you how important it is to keep open lines of communication—with us and with your students as they become more immersed in college life. This newsletter is a valuable communication channel to keep you informed about what’s happening on campus and the resources available to your students.

You can also visit the Parents and Families page on our website, which features frequent updates and news.

We’re proud to share we’ve been acknowledged by US News and World Report in their latest rankings; Purchase made their list of Top Ten Public Liberal Arts College in the nation.

Last call! Please remember to register for Family Day scheduled for this Saturday, October 2, 2021. I look forward to seeing you at brunch.

Please know that you are free to contact me directly any time. Stay safe and be well.
