Get Help from Librarians via Zoom Drop-in Reference!

The Library is pleased to announce a new Drop-in Zoom Reference service, starting Monday August 3rd.

You can now get help from Purchase College reference librarians, live over Zoom!

This is just another way the Library is staying Open Online to support students and faculty during Summer and Fall 2020.

Zoom reference complements our other Virtual Reference services (24/7 Chat, Text a Librarian, and Email) and provides a chance to have a one-on-one video and voice conversation about research, citation, locating online materials, using Library resources, etc. Screen-sharing capabilities make it easier for librarians to guide you through a search or help you troubleshoot database issues in real time.

Drop-in any time during the service hours below by clicking the zoom link on the Ask a Librarian page.

No appointment is necessary. You will be taken to a “waiting room,” and the librarian will admit you to the Zoom session shortly. Just like at the physical Reference Desk, you will be helped first-come, first-served.

Zoom Drop-in Reference will have the following hours:

Summer (Aug 3-Aug 28): Monday-Friday, 12pm-4pm

Fall (starting August 31): Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm
