UCapture at Purchase College

Purchase College is excited to announce a new partnership with UCapture, a green-tech platform, that will help our school reduce its carbon footprint. Now we’re asking you to join us!

UCapture’s free browser extension gets 25,000+ stores to fund carbon offset in Purchase College’s name, at no cost to you, when you shop online.  Their technology also automatically applies coupon codes provided by their partners save you can save money while helping our school go green.

Our school has investigated this technology over the past months and decided to partner with UCapture as this technology empowers everyone in our community to take part in our sustainability goals. We also gained comfort that UCapture does not collect your personal data or track users internet browsing. Purchase is the first SUNY institution to partner with this green-tech platform. 

To take part, just visit the link www.ucapture.com/purchase and join UCapture by installing their browser extension to your computer.  UCapture is available on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi browsers.

Then, when you shop with over 25,000 online stores, those stores will pay UCapture to fund carbon offset projects in our school’s name, which will help us offset our carbon footprint. Users can choose from over 20 different environmental projects from around the world to support. All of UCapture’s carbon offsets have been verified by leading independent agencies.
