Purchase is a Best Value

According to the Princeton Review’s Top 200 Best Value Colleges.

“Students in search of a good school with a reasonable price tag will definitely want to consider Purchase.”

The Princeton Review has once again named Purchase College as one of the “Top 200 Best Value Colleges” in the nation in their 2020 Best Value College Guide.

The guide evaluates colleges in terms of which offer the best ROI (Return on Investment), based on more than 40 data points that cover academics, affordability, and career preparation.

“Students who attend these schools don’t have to mortgage their futures to pay for their degrees—and we believe they will graduate with great career prospects.”

The Purchase profile reads that Purchase offers “something for everyone at this school,” and that while many students are drawn to Purchase for the “excellent performing and visual arts programs,” that the college also offers “awesome” programs in the liberal arts and sciences.

The college’s Career Development Center receives high marks for “helping students turn their passions into tangible careers,” through hands on sessions, workshops, job fairs, and events that give students the chance to network with “illustrious companies and organizations, and maybe even walk away with a job or internship offer in hand.” Homepage hero images

The profile also emphasizes our proximity to New York City, which benefits the students in terms of internships, auditions, and access to a thriving alumni network.

“We’re pleased that Purchase once again has been nationally recognized for its outstanding programs and its commitment to supporting students through their academic careers and beyond graduation,” says Caitlin Read, Dean of Enrollment Management. “We hope the guide inspires prospective students and their parents who are looking for a high quality education that is also affordable.” Women at work in the biology lab.
