Meals That Heal - Ronald McDonald House of Greater Hudson Valley

“We visited the Ronald McDonald House in Valhalla NY. The Ronald McDonald house is on the same campus as the Westchester Medical Center and the children’s hospital. When we arrived we were given a tour of the house and then we went into the kitchen. We cooked lunch for approximately 25 people (12 families). We made hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, pasta salad, brownies, and cupcakes. All seven girls worked together and it was a beautiful experience. We wrapped the hotdogs so the families could grab the food and go back to the hospital to be with their sick children. I hope that we are able to participate in the Meals that heal program every year!” - Jacqueline Kilanowski, Peekskill Middle School 7th Grade Counselor
