Great Potential Graduate Corner: Stefanie Subelza-Nolli

A former Great Potential student from White Plains High shared her news to site staff Sheila Foley from the White Plains Youth Bureau that she had been chosen to be a Fulbright Scholar. Her name is Stefanie Subelza-Nolli, her sister also followed her through Great Potential and her brother is currently a participant in 10th grade.  Stefanie was also chosen for a Teach for America award but she chose the Fulbright instead.  She competed with people from across the country and was one of 54 people chosen.  She will be going to teach English in Mexico at the end of August after graduating Lehman College.  She is finishing Lehman with a double bachelors degree in Anthropology and Latin American Studies.
