Hot off the SUNY Presses!

In honor of national University Press week, the Library is displaying a selection of titles from SUNY Press.

In recognition and celebration of University Press week, November 6-11, the Library is displaying a selection of our holdings in SUNY Press titles.

Many of the monographs are written by SUNY faculty and represent special SUNY Press series, such as: Horizons on Cinema, Social Context of Education, and Queer Politics and Culture, among others. A couple representative titles include:

Hetero: Queering Representations of Straightness. Edited by Sean Griffin from the Horizons of Cinema series. Call number: PN1995.9.H45 H48 2009.

Race and Epistemologies of Ignorance. Edited by Shannon Sullivan and Nancy Tuana from the Philosophy and Race series. Call number: HT1521 .R234 2007.

The display, which highlights works in both print and e-book formats, brings attention to the vital work of university presses within New York and across the nation.
