Throughout this internship I got to experience and take part in many different projects, and I’m so happy I got to do so. I helped restore the Reproductive Justice Garden with Meilani Nelson, I got to maintain the Native Plant Garden, I participated in multiple food recoveries across campus, and I helped clean up trash in Alumni woods.
Everything I did in this internship made me feel like I was making a difference in the community- it was a very fulfilling experience. I learned that it really only takes a group of dedicated individuals to make significant change, and I am going to carry that with me as I progress through life. I had a lot of fun and made many new friends, I would definitely recommend this internship to anyone interested!
