Meet the Director

Welcome!

Kelly Jackson's Headshot At Purchase College, we believe that learning is not only lifelong - but life-enhancing when shared across generations. Through our Intergenerational Learning initiatives, we aim to enrich the lives of Purchase College students, faculty, staff, and Broadview residents by fostering meaningful connections, shared experiences, and collaborative programming.

Whether it’s a class held in the Learning Commons sparking intergenerational discussions, a panel of professionals giving insight to careers, or a shared performance or exhibition, intergenerational learning at Purchase is rooted in mutual respect, curiosity, and the belief that everyone - regardless of age - has something to teach and something to learn. These programs create opportunities for dialogue, mentorship, and creative exchange that benefit our entire campus community.

I invite you to explore the many ways you can engage with Intergenerational Learning at Purchase College - whether as a student, resident, educator, or community partner. Together, we’re building a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where every generation has a voice.

In shared learning,

Kelly Jackson
Sr. Director of Intergenerational Learning and Program Planning, Government Relations Liaison
