Senior Week
Senior Week will be May 12-May 15. All events are strongly encouraged but not mandatory. Some events require registration.

May 3
Lavender Graduation
Lavender Graduation is an event to honor our LGBTQIA+ graduates at Purchase College, SUNY. This is the second annual ceremony that will be happening on May 3, 2025 from 2:30pm-5:30pm at Broadview. First 50 students to RSVP are guaranteed a rainbow stole.
May 10
Black Graduation
Calling all students that are apart of the African Diaspora or identifies as black. Come be celebrated by your family, friends, and fellow students.
May 12
Cap Decorating
2pm-4pm, Southside Lounge
Come decorate your cap and make it uniquely you. We will provide the decorations you bring the creativity!
Movie & S’mores
8:00pm, The Great Lawn
Lay out on the Great Lawn and enjoy some s’mores while watching a movie under the stars!
May 13
Cap Decorating
10am-12pm, Campus Center North
Come decorate your cap and make it uniquely you. We will provide the decorations you bring the creativity!
Picnic Lunch
12pm-2pm, Great Lawn
Come enjoy a boxed lunch and lay out on the Great Lawn for a picnic. Bring a blanket if you have, or we will provide one for you.
May 14
Senior Sunrise
Join us on the Great Lawn at 6:15am to watch the sunrise as you reflect on your Purchase journey and what lies ahead. Light refreshments will be provided.
Picture Me Grad!
Want a personal graduation photoshoot? Here is your chance! Sign up to have your own Purchase graduation photoshoot by a current Purchase student photographer. Space is limited so make sure to register. Photoshoots are weather dependent.
Senior Splash and BBQ
1pm-3pm, The Dinning Hall
Celebrate all of your accomplishments and senior projects at the You Did It BBQ. Come to the Dinning Hall in your bathing suit to enjoy some music, food, and water activities. No registration is needed just bring a friend and your appetite!
Cap Decorating
1pm-3pm, The Dining Hall
Come decorate your cap and make it uniquely you. We will provide the decorations you bring the creativity!
May 15
Commencement Ceremony Rehearsal
11am-12pm, The Gym
Rehearsal is completely optional. Rehearse the order of ceremony and how you will cross the stage. Come to get all your questions answered.
Cap Decorating

Not So Prom
9:30pm-12:30am, The Clocktower
Get dolled up or don’t and meet us for a night of dancing mocktails, and food ! Let’s get rid of the social norms and stigmas from high school and do Prom Purchase style!
