Max Volpert

Theatre and Performance Program, Production Manager

Max Volpert  (she/her)  is a sound designer, writer, artist, and production manager from Central Jersey. With a passion for the spectacular and a penchant for the dramatic, Max is constantly in pursuit of projects that allow her to delve deeply into fictional worlds and work creatively to curate meticulous and exciting work.
Previously, Max has worked with the Lookingglass Theatre as their sound supervisor on world debut productions such as Circus Quixote and Iraq But Funny, as well as at theatres and universities across the country, bringing innovative sound design to a diverse range of plays and musicals. Max is a co-founder of “Spit It Out! Audio,” a post-production audio company that provides audio services across various industries, including theatre, film, video games, and podcasting. Favorite projects include the Dungeons and Dragons podcast “Rivers of Confluence” and the visual novel “Epilogues.”
