Precious Omigie ’23

Precious Omigie is an actor, recording artist, and songwriter who recently appeared in the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s powerful production of Nina Simone: Four Women . 

In August 2025, she joins Shakespeare in the Park’s production of Twelfth Night   as an ensemble actor and understudy for the character, Antonio. Featuring award-winning cast members Peter Dinklage, Sandra Oh, Lupita Nyong’o, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson,  TN runs at the Delacorte Theater in New York,  August 7–September 14. The play will be televised on PBS’s Great Performances series on November  14, 2025.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Omigie discovered her love for acting at a young age, “enticed by its mystery and magic.”  In addition to her training at Purchase Conservatory of Theater Arts, Omigie studied at the Stella Adler School of Acting and is skilled in dialects, stage combat, stage makeup, physical comedy, and improvisation.

 When she isn’t acting, she can be found writing plays,  “street scouting,” or collaborating with musicians.
