Marisa Brown

Summer Performing Arts Coordinator

Marisa Brown is the Performing Arts Coordinator, for the Summer Youth and Precollege Programs in the Arts. A ‘theater kid’ growing up, as Performing Arts Coordinator she supports faculty, staff, and students in the Summer performing arts programs.

Prior to joining the School of Continuing Education, Marisa worked as a creative project manager and audio producer. She received an M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin in Music and Media Technology and produced and edited dozens of podcasts for The Podcast Studios while living in Dublin. Her background also includes work on audio guides for institutions such as The National Gallery of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Central Park Conservancy; original compositions for indie pilots, documentaries, and podcasts; and music and brand supervision.

Marisa spent many summers in arts camps and programs: songwriting, developing her voice, and participating in musical theatre productions. In Marisa’s words: “These summers were magical, and I’d find it meaningful to be a part of making that magic possible for the incoming Youth and Precollege cohort.”
