Jennifer Mogbock ’13 is an actor, writer, director and theatre educator, who most recently starred as Dora Carter opposite Natalie Portman in the Apple TV+ series Lady in the Lake (2024).

Bio

Born in Lagos Nigerian, Jennifer is a proud immigrant raised in Argentina, Houston Texas and Canada. She is a Bilingual (English and Spanish) actor, writer, director and theatre educator currently based in New York City. 

Jennifer’s ambition is to perform and create stories about differences: to explore race, culture, and the complexities of how we self identify. But most importantly, her ambition is to provide genuine representation for little brown skin girls that look like her! Little brown skin girls that dream like her! Because WE belong in the narrative.
