Lee Martindell ’05

Lee Martindell MFA ’05 began his professional career with blackwalnut in Valley Cottage, NY where he served as a project manager, electrician, and draftsman, before becoming director of operations.

While there, he worked on the Broadway productions of Gypsy and Westside Story, The Tony Awards, and the NFL Draft. He managed projects for every major sports league and/ or their outlets culminating in two Emmy® Awards—one for MLB Network and one for NBC’s presentation of the Rio Olympics.

Martindell joined Dimensional Worldwide in 2017, quickly moving from project manager to senior project manager to VP of production to president of production. The Dimensional team provides fabrication services across multiple industries: trade shows, special events, product releases, television, retail, automotive, museums, and commercial construction.

His specific responsibilities include the daily oversight of the production management staff, engineering and technical design staff, and the shop floor. Aside from his day-to-day responsibilities, he maintains a slate of clients and ongoing projects.

Most recently, Martindell has provided consulting and management services to Delta Airlines (for their digital art installation in the New Terminal D of LaGuardia Airport), Ferrari, Aston Martin, Beacon Properties, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
