Alicia Pilgrim ’20

Alicia Pilgrim ’20 was born and raised in Washington, DC. She attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where she learned the sacred and moral obligations of storytelling. At Purchase, she grew an even deeper sense of community.

She recently played the role of Reggie in the Atlantic Theater Company’s world premiere production of I’m Revolting, written by Gracie Gardner, and directed by Knud Adams, which ran Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater.

Pilgrim played the role of Plum in the world premiere of Cullud Wattah at the Public Theater, for which she earned nominations for an Antonyo Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play, and for an AUDELCO “Viv” Award for Featured Actress in a Play.

She also appeared in HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness and the film A Thousand and One.
