Marcus Callender ’12

Marcus Callender has been seen steadily on primetime network TV, Theatre and Film. He is known as the shady cop Ray-Ray on the hit series Power, Straight Outta Compton, Shades of Blue, EVIL, New Amsterdam, Blindspot, Showtime’s The Affair, Elementary, The Equalizer and HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness. Marcus starred in Lynn Nottage’s Fabulation, or The Re-Education of Undine, directed by Tony Nominated and Obie Award-winner Lileana Blain-Cruz at the Signature Theatre. He is a cast member of the Hulu drama series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, which “chronicles the history and formation behind the music group as they deal with the daily struggle of balancing their music career amidst the drug induced early 90’s.” The first season is streaming now on Hulu and has been renewed for a third season.
