James M. Dubin

Jim Dubin is the managing partner of Madison Place Partners, LLC, a financial and organizational consulting firm. In addition, he is a member of the boards of directors of Emmis Communications Corporation, Omega Flex, Inc., and Atlantic Avenue Acquisition Corporation. He has also served on the boards of Carnival Corporation & PLC and Conair Corporation. Jim recently retired as Executive Chairman of Conair Corporation. Prior thereto he was a senior partner of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he served for many years as a member of the Management Committee, Chair of the Corporate Department, and Chair of the Finance Committee.

Active in philanthropies, Jim is currently Chairman of Lighthouse Guild International, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University, Treasurer of the Board of The Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art, and a member of the Board of the Biennial Foundation. He previously served as Chairman of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (now Young Arts) and is President of the Board of Trustees of the Williston Northampton School. In addition, he has served as a member of the Boards of Trustees of the American Ballet Theater, the Miami City Ballet, the Jewish Home Lifecare System, the Presidential Scholars Foundation and as Vice Chair of the Board of the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester.

Jim received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law where he served as an editor of the Columbia Law Review and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He lives with his wife, Susan, in Harrison, NY, and Snowmass, CO. They have two children and two grandchildren.
